We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager Business Risk Control Management.
In this role, you will
Continual assessment of operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructuring and the impact of new technology
Effective use of Operational Risk tools, Key Indicators and Dashboard to mitigate risks
Build networks within Commercial Banking and across functions to provide expertise and implement Business Risk and Control Management capability
Ensure adherence to the Incident Management process to enable timely escalation
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
University degree or equivalent in business, related field or equivalent experience
Sound knowledge of the Group and Commercial Banking business, including products and services
Understanding of the changing regulatory environment in which the business operates
Good knowledge of operational risk and controls, preferably gained through experience in front line and risk roles, as well as of the Group Operational Risk Framework
Ability to effectively work independently under pressure within a team environment
Proven problem solving skills to identify and resolve complex problems, with the capacity to consider alternative solutions
