About the role Technology Risk provides expertise, advice and direction on technology risk and controls and assistance to manage the end-to-end risks associated with the management and operation of technology.
In this role, you will actively collaborate with Business Division and project stakeholders to ensure that processes and technology are deployed with a consistent and informed view of risk. You have to ensure that processes and technology which are deployed based on security policy, framework and best practices that drive consistent, secure, repeatable and efficient end to end project/initiative outcomes.
About you To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Knowledge of Technology risk and Information Security processes, concepts, and industry standards (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, ISO, PCI, Data Privacy, BASEL III) and regulatory drivers
Ability to support non-technical business partners to build awareness of how effective IS/TA risk management processes and controls can support the achievement of business objectives
Relevant qualifications or experience in operational risk management and regulatory compliance, with working knowledge of information security, technology and controls
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including proven experience presenting to senior stakeholders
Proven ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, and proactively identify business needs
Proven ability to manage projects and initiatives to desired levels to deliver business outcomes including ability to work hands on and complete the risk assessment from start to finish
