Are you a hands-on person keen to move from Luxembourg to Switzerland or already Swiss-based with UCITS funds risk and regulatory experience?
Joining a busy, small team dealing with funds governance & monitoring for private clients, this position reports to the Fund Business Development head.
The role will include the following broad remit:
Leadership to ensure a suitable group-wide governance process on the management of the funds activities (incl. monitoring of set up, changes and liquidation of funds)
Controlling deviation with investment restrictions of the funds
Performing the regulatory checks
Training of Portfolio Managers on requirements in the asset management of funds
Conducting analysis of the funds legal and operational set-up and perform the necessary controls
Providing support to ensure efficient and effective operational processes
Ensure appropriate communication between Group entities
Proven hands-on experience in conducting risk management & regulatory activities for the funds business, ideally within a private bank or asset management
You will have approximately 3-5 years' relevant experience
Strong knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD guidelines
Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize information
Excellent reflexes and a curious nature
Strong oral and written communication in English and French
Ability to work with others in a team environment and to liaise and cooperate with other units within the Bank
Ability to multitask and reprioritize work autonomously
Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Geneva area
