My client, a strong global Investment Bank, is looking to make the hire of a Junior Investment Banker for their New York LevFin team. If you are an analyst level candidate coming from a strong origination background (particularly in the Leveraged Finance/DCM/Capital Markets space) then this is a wonderful opportunity for you! They are looking to hire an experienced analyst but are also willing to speak to strong associate level candidates in this space.
To prepare and distribute market commentary and economic updates on a regular basis
To provide clients with indicative pricing information
To keep track of, compile, and distribute new investment grade issuance information
To develop client presentations and to take on additional projects and initiatives as necessary
To liaise with traders in order to obtain pricing information in secondary markets
To provide support to client dialogue and marketing efforts to the appropriate extent
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to properly analyze financial statements
Preferably have experience in Debt Capital Markets – ideally from a global Investment Bank
Investment Banking or related experience – preferably obtained a top global Investment Bank
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Math, or a related field
Advanced knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Must have excellent communication skills and work to tight deadlines
Solid professional writing skills, particularly in preparing IMs and relevant documents and announcements
Must be a good team player and have the ability to work under pressure
