An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Trade Finance Operations as a Senior Associate. Reporting to the Associate Director of the Commodities and Finance Markets Operations in the Asia region.
This person will review and accept documents received for Physical Metals deals and under Letter of Credit, maintain documentation records, prepare of DP documents, prepare & review customer contracts, invoices and other shipping documents. The candidate will also verify transactions booked in the internal trading systems, prepare payment requests for payment teams, manage daily customer exposures and limits and monitor financial obligations and resolution of issues. They will also liaise with internal and external parties, including Nostro bank account contacts for settlement
We would like to speak to individuals with 1-3 years of trade finance experience, ideally within the banking sector. Knowledge of International Chamber of Commerce Rules and Regulations beneficial. Experience in preparing Outward Documentary Bills for Collection and processing Inward Documentary Bills for Collection. Understand the importance of controls and procedures in the operations area and lifecycle of a product. Knowledge of the Metals products beneficial.
