Regionally based in Asia, this Private Bank continues to build a bigger presence and is looking for strong Compliance talent pool in Asia. There are various headcounts in the Compliance and AML teams, to beef up the team to meet the growing demands of the business.
On top of Compliance advisory (cross border, RNF, licensing, etc), the role has a mandate to develop and implement controls under the Financial Crimes Compliance (AML/CFT, sanctions compliance and anti-corruption) framework, including performing due diligence and risk assessment of relevant investment / business counterparties, and supporting the relevant reporting requirements as necessary. You collaborate with business units and other risk and control departments to address compliance issues and engender a culture of compliance within the business.
You have at least 8 - 12 years of progressive experience in Compliance / AML / Financial Crime Compliance in Private Banks. Strong communications and written skills with the executive level. Certification as an AML specialist with a recognised institution / association and/or experience in financial crime compliance will be an advantage. Diligent with attention to details. Strong analytical skills and clear thought process abilities.
