About The Role As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Portfolio Management in the portfolio management and construction aspects of select group of multi-asset funds. You will play a key role in recommending tactical asset allocation strategies to the Asset Allocation Committee and implementing these ideas at the diversified fund level. Providing communication support on investment related matters to various internal and external stakeholders is an integral part of the role. You may also be required to contribute to the portfolio construction of select single sector portfolios including manager research on traditional and alternative assets.
You will be required to play a management role with respect to strategic and operational aspects of designated portfolios, and represent these portfolios with external and internal stakeholders.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Extensive investment experience including 'hands-on' portfolio management experience gained within an investment manager in either portfolio construction, research, strategy or investment consulting role
Strong understanding and experience in managing a multi-manager investment process (including manager research and selection)
Direct experience and understanding of strategic asset allocation process and tactical asset allocation strategies as applied to multi-asset funds is highly desirable
Master's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business, Actuarial Studies or CFA is preferred
Strong understanding of investment risk
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on being able to work in a highly collaborative and performance environment supporting multiple business units and stakeholders; Excellent verbal including public speaking, written and analytical skills
