The primary responsibilities of the AML and Sanctions Vice President will be:
To support the enhancement of the AML and OFAC Sanctions frameworks by providing new initiatives
To assist with KYC/On-boarding and perform AML and Sanctions related investigations and monitoring
To work alongside the AML and Sanctions Group Head by assisting in the development, creation and implementation of new compliance programs for the business
Completing due diligence work such as drafting reports and reporting and analysing AML/Sanctions data
To be the AML and Sanctions Vice President you will need:
Substantial Financial Crime experience, specifically in AML/Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring
A real analytical skill set is required and someone who has strong systems knowledge.
A certificate in AML is preferable
Any exposure to payments, correspondent banking, FX, equity or derivatives business is helpful
Vast Financial Crime experience gained from working in Banking/Financial Services or a Consultancy
The ability to work autonomously and proactively but also alongside the wider team and senior stakeholders in the business
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
