Preparing presentations on business valuation, issues and investment/divestment opportunities for senior management, shareholders and the Board
Working with the team and other departments to analyse the performance of the company and its peers to critique and support valuation model forecasts
Assisting the team and senior management to prepare for meetings with equity and debt investors, the Board and other financial stakeholders, such as rating agencies
Supporting debt and equity investor Q&A processes
Supporting ad-hoc projects including potential acquisitions, business planning and external communications
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate must have experience in either in-house corporate finance, an infrastructure or energy fund, M&A advisory or private equity. Candidates must possess strong financial modelling and analytical skills and have comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance principles, preferably with client-facing experience.
Strong financial modelling skills
Comprehensive technical knowledge of corporate finance principles
Motivation to be part of an in-house corporate finance team with passion for driving shareholder value through operational, financial and regulatory levers
Ability to think critically and commercially, with a high attention to detail, in order to assess business issues and opportunities
Possess outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build relationships with a wide range of investors in a tailored way
Be proactive, with ability to take on a high degree of responsibility and to execute critical work streams with limited supervision
Have a strong team ethic that will enable the candidate to build and maintain a broad network within the company as well as with advisors and partners
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Degree educated (or equivalent)
