The role of the Implementation PMO will include:
·Ownership of the end to end integrated programme plan. This role will own all aspects of maintenance of plan within MSP Engaging with Programme Leads/key stakeholders to understand the progress / status of the Businesses milestones / dependencies they own, impact on business plans/deliverables and remediation actions Applying an entity level lens to the integrated programme plan ·Review and challenge the plans with the Programme Leads to ensure all dependencies are aligned and accurate ·Ensure any changes in dates of business milestones / dependencies are adequately impact assessed and formally change controlled ·Embed and maintain appropriate feedback mechanisms and processes to manage change requests / milestone closure etc. ·Maintain a view of the critical path and milestones/dependencies that impact it ·Act as the primary contact for all milestone tracking and monitoring activities, including the tracking and reporting of key milestones ·Assisting with tracking and monitoring of project progress for all projects within the programme ·To produce consistently high quality and accurate MI that is used within presentations and steering committee documentation, suitable for board members and regulator review ·Define, implement and run suitable controls (e.g. Change Control, Milestone closure). Assistance with further development/refinement of processes as needed ·Support for reporting programme status into the Navigator system ·Using past industry experience is able to proactively make suggestions to the team on process improvements ·Risk and Control: Business colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and Policy Standards
Experience Required *Excellent knowledge of Programme Office, Project and Programme Management frameworks *Demonstrable experience of project delivery and having played a lead role in a large Programme Office *Good organizational skills and attention to detail; *Ability to communicate at all levels, to network and influence others, and work with senior stakeholders *Collaborative style with ability to quickly build trust/credibility; *Ability to "roll up sleeves" and own resolution of "sticky problems" *Operated in matrix and/or virtual team environments, managing associated resource constraints *Experience of working within an agile environment working in scrums, iterative delivery cycles, multi-disciplinary teams *Understanding of project management best practices, methodologies and project lifecycle *Highly competent with MS Excel including automated reporting tools/ VBA experience *Highly competent with MS PowerPoint with demonstrable experience in producing high-profile presentations to external regulatory bodies *Strong SharePoint skills, including administration of user rights, list configuration, customised views, reporting metrics
