Assist Relationship Managers to manage the client on-boarding process
Conduct AML checks on new clients according to internal and external Legal and Compliance (L&C) requirements
Complete KYC and AML files for new clients under the time frame requested by Relationship Managers, and is responsible for the quality of KYC conducted
Communicate with L&C Department
Actively communicate with Relationship Managers, to ensure close monitor of any significant adverse change of clients, which could lead to money-laundry and suspicious activities
Undertake KYC and AML review of existing clients (including PEPs) on a regular basis
Ensuring all customers' risk classifications (high, medium or low) are up-to-date per internal and external L&C policies
Draft and suggest policy and procedure updates for the department on matters related to L&C
Circulate the update sanction notifications to department
Monitor and deliver relevant compliance reports to L&C Department, including a list of high risk corporate customers on a monthly basis, reports of high risk corporate customers and analysis regarding customer risk classification semi-annually
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND DEVELOPMENT
Understand a broad range of corporate banking products and services.
Develop and maintain awareness of relevant legal, regulatory and risk requirement of the products and services offered by EMEA Syndication centre
Maintain an up to date high level of knowledge and understanding of the internal policies related to relevant regulation of Corporate Banking
Maintain a current awareness and understanding of the business proposition, functions and processes of Corporate Banking
5 to 7 year's relevant compliance experience in KYC/KYB/AML checks
Corporate Banking, Data Analysis, Compliance, and Risk Management related professional qualifications.
Degree level educated (preferably, Accounting, Banking or Finance)
