Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Division
The Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Division manages a range of private-equity style investment funds focusing primarily on infrastructure and real estate. In particular, MIRA is recognised globally as the leading manager of infrastructure investment funds worldwide with a broad portfolio of investments across all major investment markets. Its client base primarily comprises global pension and superannuation funds, but also includes institutional and sovereign investment funds.
MIRA currently manages two real estate funds and two infrastructure funds in China. MIRA's China business has recorded strong growth over the past 5 years and the team is looking to add a motivated and driven investment professional to support this growth.
Summary of role
The individual will work in the real estate private equity team in Beijing, which focuses primarily on the acquisition and management of real estate assets in China. The individual will report to the Head of Acquisitions based in Beijing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the team with support across a range of activities including acquisitions, disposals, debt refinancing, investor reporting and asset management, including:
conducting ad hoc research
preparing and drafting presentations and memos
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will:
up to 2 years of work experience
excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
sound business judgment and a pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving
strong communication and interpersonal skills
a thorough understanding of financial accounting, corporate finance and business reporting preferred
a Bachelor degree or higher from top tier university; finance/accounting or quantitative field preferred.
