Your role Are you trustworthy in driving the business forward? Do you know how to make sure things run smoothly? We're looking for someone like that who can provide business-related services and support to our FX, Rates & Credit businesses as well as: – assist the FRC Product Business Managers in running the bank activities including supporting desk heads and resolving any issues with trading processes – assist in managing the daily controls for the trading desks – handle one-off projects & remediation work, as well as support the operational risk framework (BRAP, ICAP) – improve and maintain the process documentation around the activities involved – liaise with business front office as well with front-to-back functions
Your team You'll be working in the FX, Rates & Credit (FRC) COO team in New York. We deal with a broad range of deliverables focusing on Front to Back Governance and Risk framework, regulatory change and special projects. Reporting into FRC Americas Operating Officer and working closely together, you will assist with implementation and development of action plans and key initiatives of the IB COO department. From the start of the job, you'll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations.
Your experience and skills You have: – a bachelor's degree in finance or engineering – knowledge and understanding of Fixed Income and FX Products, sensitivity towards a diverse workforce on the trading floor – the ability to work with senior stakeholders and team members across all areas of the bank – excellent analytical skills – knowledge of Excel and other data tools
You are: – service minded and responsive, quick to act (hands-on approach), analytical, communication skills, fast learning and focused reaching targets and delivery – able to remain calm under pressure and cope with difficult and changing scenarios – extremely driven and motivated
