A business analyst is required to lead and execute analysis for our Client Experience domain in Securities Services ITO. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of operational process involved in client query and incident handling, and have a proven track record in leading and performing business analysis. The candidate should also have a good understanding of related technology applications which service the domain.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Undertake requirements gathering from stakeholders/end users and turn into well-formed formal requirements
Perform AS-IS/TO-BE process mapping using tools such as visio, gliffy, etc.
Undertake data analysis across our footprint markets as required in order to validate/challenge and refine requirements
Conduct well-structured meetings and walkthroughs; scoping, requirements gathering, sign-off, etc.
Providing clear sets of exit criteria/scenarios
Partner with the wider technology team to ensure solution definition meets requirements and is delivered with accuracy and quality
Stakeholder management across Sales, Product Management, Client Experience, Technology and Operations
Introduce industry best practices, tools, techniques, processes and methodologies which bring clear benefit
Manage keys risks and issues as they arise with timely escalation when required
Qualifications & Skills
Good knowledge of client incident and query handling, both technology applications and operational processes
Minimum 5 years BA experience in similar domain/environment, ideally with experience of agile/scrum
Working knowledge of PEGA 7 is desirable
Experience of strategic change, working with business and technology stakeholders to define and execute operational strategy
Requirements Analysis: Consistently captures requirements that are complete & unambiguous
Analytical Thinking: Analyses complex data to understand the underlying causes and to prioritize actions
Communication and presentation: Able to construct and make formal presentations and/or facilitate group activities.
Effective Business Writing: Prepares high quality documentation (e.g. BRD's & Functional Specifications, Minutes, etc) that are clear and concise
Negotiation & Influencing Skills
Facilitation Skills: Able to use a variety of techniques to encourage contributions from all stake-holders.
