This is a role within the Risk function to support Risk Governance work performed by the Country Chief Risk Officer ("CCRO") office. Key tasks include ensuring central elements of Hong Kong's risk governance and control framework are operating effectively, in line with Group Policy, statutory and regulatory requirements. The jobholder will facilitate the maintenance of adequate and appropriate country compliance policies and procedures to identify, assess, monitor, mitigate and report risks for BCBS239, SA-CCR and Large Exposure.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Support CCRO office to ensure Risk Management Framework ("RMF") of SCBHK and its subsidiaries has been implemented effectively
Maintain good level of understanding of current regulatory requirements of relevance to Risk
Assist in implementing Risk related new regulatory requirements within the Bank
Coordinate and collate regular reports for Senior Risk Governance Manager as required
Provide support to Senior Risk Governance Manager in HKMA reviews/enquires, PRA reviews and request from external auditors on risk related queries and reviews
Qualifications and Skills
Good sense of risk management and compliance requirements
Basic knowledge in Risk related rules and regulations and eager to learn
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders
Strong analytical, conceptualisation and independent thinking skills
