Reporting to the global head of Portfolio Operations, the successful candidate will lead integration efforts of acquisitions into the company. This includes assessing management talent teams, review legal and risk operating requirements, develop cash flow forecasts and company reporting requirements.
He / She will partner with portfolio management teams to drive rapid and significant operating and financial performance, and lead development of transformation plans to drive rapid and significant EBITDA growth. The successful candidate will also serve as Chairperson of the Operating Committee or Operations Lead of the Portfolio Company. Coaching and counselling of the CEO and senior management team on ongoing challenges and opportunities facing the company are also expected in this role.
Required Competencies and Experience :
Bachelor degree and MBA from a top-tier institution.
At least 15 years of progressive manufacturing / industrial experience supplemented by relevant consulting / restructuring or private equity experience.
Highly analytical with a solid understanding of Accounting and Finance, but with meaningful Operations related (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) line responsibility in his / her background.
Consulting mindset – strong in assessment and quantification, with the ability to make hard decisions.
Strong influencer and communicator.
Proven ability to implement programs as conceived and modify on the fly for maximum effectiveness.
Energetic, ability to travel
