The key responsibilities of the Construction Manager:
Project planning, budgeting, and identification of consultants needed
Oversee all aspects of the projects from inception to closeout
Creating and managing the approved budget and minimizing exposure and risk in the project
Bid out projects
Negotiate contract pricing
Write all scopes of work
Establish a schedule and ensure all construction activities run according to plan
Negotiate change orders
Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, etc.
The successful Construction Manager:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction management, Architecture or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience working in residential renovations
5-15 years of experience in Construction Project Management
Experience with CAD
Willing to travel nationally
