This role supports the team in Advanced IRB Production and Reporting with responsibility for the ongoing reporting activities and regulatory aspects of Credit Risk Capital Reporting. The team are responsible for Capital optimisation initiatives to meet demand for strong analytics and RWA accuracy for the bank.
Responsibilities of the Credit Risk Capital Reporting – Assistant Manager:
Collate and review Credit and Counterparty Credit RWA reporting
Provide support to the Business, Treasury and Regulatory Finance
Monitor the accuracy of the RWA parameters and capital calculations reported out of the bank
Represent the Capital Reporting team in strategic projects and initiatives across the bank.
Actively promote and engage in knowledge transfer between Credit and Market Risk within the wider team
Background of the Credit Risk Capital Reporting – Assistant Manager:
Undergraduate degree - 2.1 or equivalent
Knowledge of Basel III requirements
Broad knowledge of banking & trading products
Excellent MS Excel skills
Experience working with large data sets
Highly numerate with strong analytical / problem solving abilities
Professional qualifications such as CIMA/ACCA/CFA are desirable, as is Data warehouse experience and analysis skills (Access/SQL/VBA) with confidence in handling large datasets. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate a solid understanding of Basel III, Credit Risk models, reporting processes, data interrogation and an interest in the changing regulatory landscape.
