Our client is one of the largest banks in the GCC that is semi-government owned with over 150 branches worldwide. Reporting to the Head of Acquiring, this role is designed to oversee the full business portfolio including Volumes, Revenue and Profitability for the acquiring business. The role holder will provide end to end portfolio management covering existing revenue and new revenue generation; execute segment strategy for the portfolio and provide portfolio insights.
Develop strong relationships with Key Merchants and provide best in class relationship management capability
Assist in the Innovation in acquiring space to develop future proposition for clients
Work on strategic partnerships with scheme providers / partners and other service providers to build new lines of revenue opportunities
Assist in improving end to end costs and ROI on initiatives across product lines, such as new product such as DCC roll out
Closely work with IT, Risk, Operations, Compliance and other stakeholders to build end-to-end roll out of SOP/SLA Development and execution
Leverage Portfolio analytics to offer insights to develop and execute revenue and cost management
Minimum Experience and Knowledge
8 years relevant experience in the banking sector
2-3 years' experience in Cards and Payments
Basic knowledge of the Cards Industry
Extensive experience in merchant acquiring and developing strategic partnerships
