This foreign corporate bank has created an opportunity for an Associate - Credit Analyst in Hong Kong to take on a regional Asia role to facilitate the credit process of banks and non-bank Financial Institutions including executing new transactions, conduct portfolio review and be part of a contributing member to the Asia risk committees.
Your new role
As a Credit Analyst, you'll sit in a regional team and report to Director of Financial Institutions Group Credit Portfolio Management. Responsible for assisting front office with credit analysis, structuring tailor-made facilities and complex financial solutions for new and existing customers. You will directly manage the credit portfolio and provide customer insights to the bank. You will conduct in-depth financial and credit assessment and work within the credit policy and parameters of the bank. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain efficiency in work flow, manage internal stakeholders to help facilitate a smooth credit approval process.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a FI Credit Analyst within Corporate Banking will lead to your success and fit within the department. You will have 3-6 years experience with strong knowledge in markets products, covering Financial Institutions and hands on with preparing credit proposals. You're a team player and detail oriented ensuring credit, operational, compliance risks are held to the highest standards of bank policy. Due to target client segment. you will be required to speak English on a day-to-day basis.
