The successful candidate will work on both 2D and 3D images relating to Medical Imaging. Employees will de-noise, clean and analyse data, then write algorithms to label this data in terms of probability of accuracy. Low probability images/scans will then go back to an industry leading surgeon who will diagnose manually which forms an iterative cycle to continue to improve accuracy. This work will lead to helping the firm build a global leading cross-disease diagnostic tool. My client also has plans for expansion outside of the realms of healthcare in the future, into other lucrative growth areas and has already begun building a product focused on XRay Security scanning.
My client is only a few months away from delivering a working prototype to their clients which will contractually unlock further funding and a very large number of client orders. Once this product is up and running, this will mean that with a few adjustments they will be able to finish two other extremely lucrative products.
The hire for this role will ideally have background experience in Deep Learning and a strong fundamental understanding of machine learning. Experience in Image Processing/Computer Vision/Medical Imaging would of course be useful, but, my client also has client projects in NLP that can be worked on if someone has skills within that area. The current tech stack is comprised of Python, TensorFlow and Keras but they will consider excellent candidates without experience in these areas.
You will have an MSc or PhD from a world-leading university, in a field such as, but not limited to, Computer Vision, Electronic Engineering or Machine Learning. You will also have an excellent publication history, with acceptance at conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, MICCAI, TPAMI, ICIP, NIPS and ICML.
The successful hire will be afforded the opportunity to travel on business and attend conferences. My client is able to pay generous compensation packages, including equity and annual bonuses and considering they literally have people queuing out the door for their products, any equity held will sky-rocket in value.
