The incumbent will be responsible for exploring the local market to develop and manage sound business relationships with corporate clients, especially big and medium sized clients. S/he will also develop and manage a portfolio of syndicated loans and commercial mortgage loans and ensure an appropriate level of risk and return is consistent with the strategic direction of the Bank.
Commercial Mortgage Relationship Management:
Maintain and enhance client relationships through customer calls or visits and ensure completeness and timely compliance of all aspects of client relationships.
Interview potential customers, understand their business, industry, threats and opportunities, existing relationship and financial needs, etc.
Corporate Bank Products Promotion:
Sell and coordinate the selling of products and services of the Bank to clients in a manner consistent with the strategic direction and risk policies of the Bank.
Participate in promotional campaigns and activities
Identify, explore, and analyze potential loan markets in relation to syndicated loans, commercial real estate loans, and trade finance loans.
Perform due diligence, prepare credit proposals and structure the right loan products for clients.
Work closely with Risk Management to respond to enquiries, ensure that credit proposed complies with the credit and risk policies.
Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding AML, BSA, suspicious activity reporting, and currency transaction reporting.
Ensure changes in BSA regulations and Bank of China policies are disseminated to all staff in the Section.
Evaluate all transactions out of the ordinary and pass to Compliance team.
Bachelor's degree required
4+ years in corporate business relationship management required
