C6 Intelligence is part of the compliance division within Acuris Group. Acuris Group is a global business with head offices in London, New York and Hong Kong and employs a network of over 600 journalists and researchers who provide data and intelligence globally. Within the C6 team the Gaming and FX division are looking to hire a New Business Development Manger. The C6 gaming team are a leading AML and Due Diligence provider working directly with Gaming Regulators, Gaming Operators both in Online Gaming and Land-Based and are looking to expand into FX over the next 12 months. With so much of the market to reach and so much demand for flexible and easy to implement compliance solutions this new hire will be instrumental in our ongoing growth into 2018 and beyond.
The role Overview:
The EMEA C6 team are based in the London office but with prospects both across the UK and Europe this is very much a role that needs both office and face to face interaction. The candidate would need to be able to travel to meet clients and will be responsible for running their territory as their own business. This includes, but is not limited to: prospecting, sourcing, carry out online demos, negotiations, client management, client retention and growing and renewing accounts as they are added to your book of business. You will understand either the Gaming (Online and Land-based and or FX/Binary) market as we need the right candidate to be able to hit the ground running. We are looking for a solid networker, someone who really lives their market, needing to be dynamic and forward thinking and always be looking for new ways to solve client's problems.
A demonstrated record of success in data/software sales within Risk and Compliance, selling solutions into Online Gaming, FX or Land Based Casinos or similar.
Preferably will have sold or worked with the following professionals, CTO, CIO, MLRO's, Head of Compliance, Risk or Fraud.
An understanding of the issues and challenges faced by organisations in identifying and mitigating AML, fraud and compliance solutions, services in regulated market.
Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills & comfortable communicating at all levels in an organization.
Educated to a degree level or proven experience and solid achievements in the sector's
Previous management experience would be an advantage to manage the territory in an entrepreneurial way
Effective time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
Excellent organization, multitasking and prioritization skills
Good interpersonal skills and a team player
Key responsibilities include:
Structured methodical and hands-on approach to managing your business, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Comfortable open doors (cold calling & network building) to meet prospects and close out business.
Highly self-motivated and driven, showing an entrepreneurial can-do attitude about winning business, be the face of your territory and own your market
Be able to successfully sell across a range of products, up sell and cross sell.
Meet or exceed set revenue targets to match the current success seen across the team
The candidate will be reporting to the Head of Gaming/FX of C6 and will be required to deliver accurate sales and pipeline forecasting and a high level of strategic support by identifying and developing new growth opportunities
