Investment Associate - Infrastructure & Energy Private Equity

The firm is a leading Private Equity firm base in the heart of Mayfair investing in the core plus Infrastructure & Energy sector. The fund have had a fantastic time fund raising, and have effectively tripled their AUM in under a year, now holding several billion USD under management. They target riskier investments, traditionally in the core plus Infrastructure/Energy sector, and are now considering slightly further entrepreneurial investments seeking high teen returns.
This is an amazing opportunity to work on the most interesting, high profile transactions in this sector. As an associate you will predominantly be required to get involved in the origination process, identifying deployment opportunities right through to execution of investments. Ideally you will be required to manage external advisors right through to running and managing processes individually with little supervision from senior members in the team.
The successful candidate is required to have 3-5 years of experience at a tier 1 investment bank or leading private equity firm, with exposure in the following Infrastructure related sectors:

Further baseline requirements:
First class university degree with an excellent academic track record.
European Languages skills are a plus.
Strong financial modelling capabilities.
Extensive transaction track record.
