The role will oversee the development and execution of investment and product content in the form of intellectual capital and investment commentary in the EMEA region. This role leads the team in developing, editing and publishing global investment editorial for existing clients and prospects across intermediary and institutional audiences.
As part of a global team, the position will have direct responsibility for ensuring content standards are met and investment editorial directives are followed within the EMEA region in conjunction with establishing key partnerships to fulfill local and global content needs.
Manage and lead a reasonably large team of writers at different levels
Guide the EMEA investment editorial/writing team in the ideation, development and timely distribution of content
Apply all global editorial standards and practices for content created and distributed in the EMEA region
Act as global liaison for major thought leadership programs to include multi-media and work directly with subject matter experts to support the development of content for prospects, clients and PR agencies.
Requirements for the role:
Previous experience working as a senior editor or head of investment communications required
Natural manager and leader
Excellent knowledge of the investment landscape across EMEA
Superior stakeholder management skills with experience of working with global teams
Good knowledge of all types of media and good experience of product messaging
Experience writing/editing content for institutional and intermediary audiences.
