The Business Join us as Vice President, Stress Testing Delivery in London
Take on a technical vice president level role with excellent potential for development in NatWest Markets
You'll work in a fast paced front office environment, supporting the stand-up of first line of defence stress testing within our Resource Management team
You'll be honing your risk management and stress testing expertise in a vibrant and supportive team
What you'll do
You'll play a key role in first line of defence stress testing and clearly communicate the results of stress tests to key internal and external stakeholders. This will involve managing the execution of monthly stress tests against an agreed production plan. You'll also be providing clarity on key assumptions and methodologies and establishing an effective monthly operating rhythm around the production of monthly stress numbers.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Co-ordinating SMEs responsible for the production of individual components of the stress testing process to drive on time delivery of reliable results
Co-ordinating the production of regulatory stress tests/ICAAP/9+3 stress
Managing the collation of stress testing assumptions and outputs, bringing together the results into a single source of data, structured in a logical way
Developing key messages and themes from the results and presenting these in a monthly report suitable for senior stakeholders that combines graphical and numerical analysis
Working with relevant SMEs to build a knowledge hub around stress testing, including explanations of scenarios, stress testing methodologies and forthcoming regulatory change
The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with experience of developing and delivering reporting at Board or ExCo level. You'll also need excellent analytical skills, with the ability to convert technical and complex outputs into clear messages and explanations.
We'll also look to you to demonstrate:
Risk management and ideally stress testing experience
Project management experience, with the ability to establish clear processes/timelines and hold others to account in delivering against those
Sound understanding of investment banking and trading with a grasp of different products that investment banks trade, their risks and the types of clients they service
Strong Powerpoint and ThinkCell knowledge, and a proven ability to analyse large datasets to prepare graphical outputs that support key messages
