Financial Markets Middle Office - FX, Rates, Credit and Commodity (FXRCC) derivatives - Analyst Location Global Job Description A Middle Office role within Financial Markets Operations, with a focus on FX, Rates, Credit and Commodity (FXRCC) derivatives business covering cash and derivatives products Roles are directly aligned to business stakeholders with a goal of achieving best in class client service, process standardization, volume scalability and cost efficiency.
Key Roles & Responsibilities · Provide support to the global FXRCC business but primarily focused on Asia. o Trade/Portfolio Validation o Trade/Position Reconciliation o Brokerage Management o Lifecycle event reporting o Query management o MI Reporting o Drive process improvement/efficiencies · Ensure that FXRCC transactions for both Vanilla and Structured products are correctly booked into the Transaction Processing system (Sabre & Murex) by verifying against source documents. · Ensure that approved product programs and country addendums are in place for new deals traded whenever possible. · Perform reconciliation between systems or between different desk by using TLM system · Escalate all exceptions for "missed" "unresolved" trade, generic counterparty booking, unapproved product trading etc · Closely monitor upstream systems as to ensure all deals feed into our Trading platform successfully. Any deals that fail to STP smoothly to Trading platform will require investigation. · Highlight any discrepancies to the Front Office, relevant downstream departments and superiors · Attend to deals booking r elated queries & investigations · Manage, guide and lead the team to facilitate effective verification & escalation of the transactions · Participate in evaluating system enhancements, UATs and projects · Work closely with New Product Group and any relevant downstream departments in supporting any new products or businesses · Constant review of DOI to ensure complete and accurate recording of process · Escalat e of all exceptions and breaks in accordance to escalation metrics · Ensure audit issues are being addressed and solutions provided. · Escalate any new control gaps, all exceptions and ensure all discrepancies & escalations are investigated, responded & resolved by within acceptable timeline · Ensure timely completion of KCSA and duly followed · Ensure that all exceptions are reported to Manager in accordance to the Escalation policy · Involve in Project/BOW meetings
Qualifications & Skills · Middle Office experience from Sales / Trading support or Trade Control · Preferred degree: Finance related degree (BSc/MSc) and/or engineering/statistics/ actuarial sciences degree · Domain expertise (product characteristics, payoff, trade events and risk replication ) across Financial markets products, with focus in FXRCC · Strong user knowledge of transaction capture and processing systems o Murex 2.11 o Murex 3.1 o FEDS o Bloomberg Trading System (BTS) o Martini o Omgeo CTM · Good understanding of the process flow of Financial Markets transactions (from front to back) · Analytical mindset, attention to detail · Strong track record for delivering process efficiency and scalability · Proficient presentation/communication skills · Demonstrate strong teamwork with internal and external groups
