The Credit Risk Manager will be responsible for assessing the credit worthiness of Financial Institutions, Non-Banking Financial Institutions and Corporates, monitoring and managing risk exposures at a counterparty, product and portfolio level, interacting with traders to help them understand margin methodologies, financial performance and risks. The incumbent will liaise with business units and legal on documentation incl. ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA in order to support and approve appropriate credit facilities. The jobholder will take initiative on formulating and refining the existing counterparty risk control methodologies, support on credit risk related projects and be responsible for ad-hoc projects/assignments.
The successful candidate will be a degree holder with at least 3 years' experience in a bank or securities firm, those with professional qualifications such as FRM/CFA are preferred. Applicants will need to demonstrate strong analytical and credit skills and have the ability to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision and have the ability to navigate through complex financial models. Candidates with knowledge of derivative products and legal documentation are preferred and will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
