Being part of the firm's largest line of service, You will join the business unit that provides Tax services to a wide range of industries. You will be involved in solving complex operational and Tax issues facing clients including local and overseas expansion, and will be part of a growing team which offers quality services to clients and help them build value, manage risk and improve their performance.
Assist clients in preparing or reviewing interim or year-end calculations of tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 or IAS 12 including related disclosures and documentation.
Plan, direct, and execute various tax projects with main focus on tax accounting projects including deferred tax accounting.
Perform research and prepare/review technical tax memorandum.
Reconcile tax data on financial statements.
Manage, develop and train staff/managers on tax accounting projects.
Assist the Director in developing the Tax Accounting Service practice and actively market the service offerings.
Degree in any discipline and/or relevant post graduate/professional qualification in Accounting, Tax, Business, Economics or Law.
Min. 6 to 10 years and above of relevant experience in tax accounting and tax advisory services, functioning in managerial capacity.
Sound experience in advisory with experience in real estate funds structuring or general funds structuring; or the TMT (technology, Media and telcoms) sector is required.
Able to work independently as well as a solid team performer with excellent organisational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interface at high levels of tax and non-tax management
