To support the Head of Banking Germany in all aspects of client coverage, business origination and strategic business development.
The role holder will focus on ensuring SCB delivers superior client coverage across the entire GB Germany portfolio in close cooperation with the Head of Global Banking.
The role involves close partnership with all relevant product groups such as TB, FM, CF plus all other relevant stakeholders such as Credit Analysis, COBAM, CRC, Credit, etc. This role includes direct client interaction, either in cooperation with Senior Banker / Hd of Global Banking or in own responsibility.
Responsibilities in respect of a defined client portfolio include (i) identification of business opportunities, (ii) internal coordination with relevant product partners to deliver suitable client solutions, (iii) strict pipeline management, (iv) account plan delivery discipline.
As this role also involves support of the GB Germany leadership team on all aspects of strategic business development, a good understanding of SCB's management information system is required. Driving market analysis about market potential of new client segments and revenue initiatives will be part of this role as well.
Preparation of discussion material for internal purposes (eg Strategic Review Sessions, business cases, etc) as well as for external stakeholders (clients, press, business partners, etc) will be part of this role.
· Strong origination and franchise building focus · Strong understanding of internal systems and processes · Solid understanding and knowledge of Credit policy and its application. · Strong understanding of global product range and the Group's day to day operational capabilities, requirements and techniques, both at home and internationally. · Strong understanding of External Regulations and Internal Policies around governance, risk and compliance. · Strong product knowledge of Transaction Banking, Financial Markets and Commercial Banking, demonstrated through effective cross-selling to clients and relationships · Ability to take the initiative regarding regulatory, reputational and ethical matters.
