HEAD OF / LEAD CONSULTANT - NEW WEALTH MANAGEMENT PROPOSITION (FINANCIAL PLANNING)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client a highly respected player in the wealth management sector. As part of continued growth plans, our client is looking for an individual with experience from the wealth management sector (who possesses experience in marketing/management consultancy/proposition or sales) to play a key role as the owner and leading advocate of a new wealth management proposition initiative within the organisation.
You will be responsible for making the initiative a success by encouraging its' adoption with its network of advisers, 3rd party organisations and amongst clients. Your role will be instrumental in acting as advocate for the new proposition so you will need to be a confident speaker and comfortable presenting to large audiences as you will be expected to travel and attend events as a speaker on this new initiative/proposition
Working across numerous channels and using different forums, you will articulate the organisation's perspective on their new wealth proposition and showcase the supporting proposition to audiences (including to advisers) and to clients. This will often involve presenting at events/forums to small to large audiences ranging in size and up to circa 200 people
Research and consider macro trends and events that are affecting wealth across the UK's generations.
Work with colleagues and 3rd party organisations to improve the financial planning proposition to clients and their families.
Oversee the launch and subsequent success of new propositions.
Prepare, monitor, and report upon management information relating to the initiative.
Support Partners as required in delivering advice to their clients.
You will have budgetary responsibility.
Current/recent experience and understanding of the wealth management/financial planning industry
Current/recent experience working in any of the following areas will be relevant; marketing, sales, proposition, strategy, management consultancy
Strong presenting skills (ability to comfortably present to medium to large audiences)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate compelling messages around propositions
Solid understanding of and ability to research macro-economic issues and how these can impact on changes to the wealth management industry and how these can be used to shape wealth management propositions
Strong research skills-ability to look at macro-economic issues and understand how these will impact proposition developments
