This is an excellent opportunity for a fully fluent speaker of both English and Mandarin to join a small and proactive team in our Financing & Risk Solutions business
Joining a London based team, you'll be covering banks and financial institutions in Asia
This role is available at Analyst level, and some travel will be required
We're offering the role for a period of six months - with the potential to be made permanent

What you'll do
You'll be assisting with the development, marketing and execution of best-in-class financial solution transactions in Asia.
Your role will also involve:
Performing in-depth analysis and developing financial models
Contributing to the production of pitch books and work streams on transaction execution
Helping to generate ideas and write presentations to originate new transactions
Taking ownership of daily and weekly market updates as well as client updates
Being actively involved in live deal execution, from the initial discussion to final settlement
Working with product and client specialists to maximise our relevance to clients
The skills you'll need
To join us in this role you'll need to be a fully fluent speaker of both English and Mandarin. You'll also need to complete additional training and gain the IAR qualifications relevant to the role within your first month of joining us. We'll also expect:
Proficiency in programming language such as C++, MatLab, VBA and Python
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
An understanding of financial markets and bond origination
Good analytical skills and the ability to run basic financial models
