Your role Do you know how to keep an eye out for and avoid risk? Are you skilled at assessing processes and making improvements? Weâ€™re looking for someone like that who can: â€"identify, gather and analyze from the findings and present to various Risk control function Units to enlist changes in the behavior of the Front Line staffs â€"act as an education utility to remind Front Line Staffs of the requirements when performing requisite callbacks/voice log to client â€"regularly evaluate and improve existing controls, put new controls into action and systematically track these â€"stay up on regulatory requirements and trends â€"differentiate borderline risk issues from critical fraudulent behavior and balances the need to escalate where necessary versus pragmatic business as usual activity

Your team Youâ€™ll be working in the Front Line Support (FLS) team in Wealth Management Operating Office. Front Line Support is a dedicated independent team as a 1st line of Defense in the Control Risk Framework to execute ex-post Controls. We perform the necessary controls to ensure callback/voice logs/documentations pertaining Regulatory, Cross border activities and Investment Suitability criteria are fulfilled by Front Line staffs based in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Your experience and skills You have: â€"a university degree, ideally â€"experience in a financial services environment, preferably in Audit/Ops/Risk Control processing role
You are: â€" proficient in Cantonese, besides English & Mandarin, as the candidate is required to communicate with the Front Line staffs based in Hong Kong office in the tape listening control â€"a clear communicator, with exceptional interpersonal skills and a good listening skill â€"an analytic thinker, with the ability to provide practical solutions â€"a self-starter, willing to take on responsibility (you can micromanage yourself) â€"open to continuous learning and continuous education both within the team and with Business Partners and Front Line staffs â€"proficient in basic Microsoft applications
