We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate Director, Credit Analyst Unit Principal Responsibilities
Assist the team head plan, strategize, develop and manage the team to support GB&M relationships to attain their strategic growth targets while at the same time maintain a high quality loan book.
Act as the cluster head to manage and guide the credit analysts through application of sound credit principles/ knowledge in evaluation, structuring of credit facilities of varying complexity by applying independence of thought, fast turnaround of credit proposal and in accordance with the Bank's credit, compliance legal policies and guidelines.
Facilitate workflow between Global Banking and relevant support functions to enhance service efficiency and hence attain the business' strategic growth targets.
Support and assist the Relationship Managers and Global Relationship Managers (RM/GRM) to extract maximum economic value from the GB&M customers, so as to drive towards achieving the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) whilst providing quality service and maintaining sound credit quality.
Be responsible for the risk and financial analysis and preparation of credit proposals in partnership with the Relationship Managers / Global Relationship Managers (RM/GRM).
Support Global Banking with a quality and efficient platform to grow its business and mitigate credit risks;
· At least 8 years of corporate lending experience. · Strong analytical skills and sound credit knowledge.
Working knowledge of full spectrum of Treasury and Capital Markets Products and Trade Services
At least 2 years of managerial skills in managing a team of executives and with good grasp of people handling skills.
Clear understanding of the Group credit risk principles, policies, procedures and procedures and statutory compliances.
CCP (Certified Credit Professional) accreditation an added advantage;
