The new hires will have work across the full range of activities undertaken by the team.
Specific responsibilities include:
Support the build-up of the team within the broader infrastructure investment group
Analysing and mapping of the global infrastructure fund market to identify fund investment opportunities and support sourcing of co-investment opportunities
Involvement at every stage of the fund investment process, including initial screening, due diligence, negotiation of terms and compilation of investment presentations and investment papers
Working on co-investments alongside funds, including due diligence, financial analysis, structuring and compilation of investment presentations and investment papers
Management of existing and prospective fund manager relationships
Involvement at every stage of the asset management process, including monitoring and preparation of key decisions regarding funds and co-investments
Candidates will likely be between three and eight years into their careers, have a strong technical grounding with advanced financial modelling skills and experience of working on infrastructure transactions. You will likely have an M&A background from within a relevant sector team (Power & Utilities, Transport, Infrastructure) of a leading bank or, possibly, you may have already made the move to the buy-side in either a principal investing or fund and/or co-investing capacity.
