You will play a vital role in ensuring all compliance controls are in accordance with local regulations.
Your scope of duties include, but are not limited to:
Being the main point of contact for all compliance-related matters from the business, external regulators and all stakeholders of the business
Supporting the business in establishing a robust regulatory framework, specifically in the operation of its custodial function
Assessing the impact of new and updated regulations on the organisation and its clients
Performing stringent due diligence and KYC on new and existing clients
Participating in adhoc global projects
Preparing and presenting reports to global management, outlining weaknesses and providing follow-up solutions
skills and experience required
Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business or Law, or relevant professional qualification in financial services or audit
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within Compliance roles ideally within a Singapore-based custodian
Strong understanding of the local regulatory regime. Prior experience in AML and data privacy would be a bonus.
Independent and self-motivated worker with excellent stakeholder management
