SBA Servicing Portfolio Manager - Candidate May Work From Home

SUMMARY: SBA Servicing Portfolio Managers service existing loans, conduct/underwrite annual reviews, and respond to servicing action requests. This position also analyzes the financial status of the SBF portfolio on an ongoing basis by assessing credit risk within the portfolio while protecting the Bank's SBA and USDA guarantees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
* Adherence to SBA SOP's, BU and SBF Policies and Procedures. * Responsible for assisting the Asst. Servicing PM in collection of financial statements. * Collect and analyze available annual and quarterly financials from borrowers within the SBF Portfolio to ensure an accurate risk assessment is applied to each borrower during the renewal and annual review process. * Analyze global cash flow for existing SBF borrowers and guarantors to identify their financial condition, profitability, repayment ability, operating trends, and determine if there are any financial indicators that point to current or potential stress within the business or guarantor's financial situation. * Underwrite servicing actions to include modifications and annual reviews of loans within the SBF portfolio which includes SBA 7a loans, USDA loans, and conventional 504 loans. * Assist in providing financial analysis on loans within the SBF portfolio that are risk-rated "Special Mention," "Substandard," or "Doubtful." Includes analyzing updated financials and assisting in recommending various forms of payment assistance to borrowers requesting payment relief due to cash flow issues or one-time hardships. * Evaluate financial information on workout credits to determine if they are assigned the appropriate risk rating. * Provide daily exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. * Review service requests submitted by borrowers. Gather pertinent information needed to recommend a course of action that fits within Bank policies and procedures and is in accordance with SBA SOP 50 57. * Maintain Financial Review Status log and Financial Statement Checklists that serve as financial ticklers. * Keep up-to-date on Bank policies, SBA policies, USDA policies, and laws and regulations that govern commercial lending. * Cross train and assist Servicing department with past due liquidations and post-closing tickler follow-up, as needed. * Communicate with borrowers to obtain missing and updated financials to ensure that files are up-to-date and complete.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must also have a minimum of 3 - 5 years servicing or underwriting experience, preferably with SBA loans.
