As a Trainee Planner at Killik & Co, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Wealth Planning team. At the same time you will undergo a structured training programme, designed to develop your knowledge and skills, with the ultimate aim of progressing into a client-facing Planner role.
Studying towards Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning (CII/PFS)
Proactively participate in training sessions
Learn about the Wealth Planning department, it's processes, and the cases it advises on
Supporting Wealth Planning team with all aspects of administration for clients and prospects
Data inputting and generation of reports
Assist Planners with annual client reviews
Liaising with product providers and other third parties to obtain all necessary information on clients' existing arrangements
Prepare information received for Planners to conduct their analyses
An individual with a client focus
Excellent client service skills
Attention to detail
Proactive and eager to learn
Good communication skills
Deals with challenges promptly and appropriately
Maintains a full and proper understanding of the financial services market
Some financial services experience required
Some financial planning exams preferred but not essential
Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
