UOBAM P&F unit is looking for a finance analyst whose key role is to optimize data requirements for Financial/Business reporting & analytics. The candidate will need to understand the current data requirements and facilitate detailed & efficient financial reporting & business analytics. The candidate must be prepared to streamline & ensure the "robustness" of the existing reporting workflow & the existing data sources. The candidate will also be involved in the developing needs of refreshing UOBAM's data architecture for regional financial & AUM reporting purposes.
The candidate will also be expected to lead the Finance Regional Office function. Specific duties would include but not limited to the following:
Assist in annual budgeting process
Documenting and maintaining finance manuals
Performing or coordinating surveys with research houses or consultants
Checking and reviewing AUM for Investment Committee and Management Committee monthly reports
Recognized university degree with 5-10 years' prior experience in financial reporting or computer programming
Experienced in MIS reporting/database management, well versed in MS Excel, MS Access & any visualization tools
Strong analytical mindset, meticulous & proactive in nature
Good organizational skills with the ability to independently drive projects for results
Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and external parties of all levels
