This established and highly regarding global fund manager is seeking a senior sales professional to join its ranks in Australia and be its Sydney based representative. We are seeking to appoint an industry professional who exhibits outstanding relationship management skills and a passion for customer solutions.
Our client is a household name with substantial AUM managing a range of traditional and alternative strategies on behalf of institutional and retail investors. The current team enjoys an open communication and collaborative culture which extends to their client interaction and as such, the team has developed strong and trusted relationships with the local client landscape.
As the new institutional sales manager, you will join an existing team of consultative sales professionals and will develop relationships with institutional investors to facilitate the sales of global product across Australia and New Zealand. This will include developing strategic account plans for all existing clients, AUM retention and developing relationships with prospects through regular and progressive communication.
Profiles of interest are those with 10 years' minimum experience, developed from a similar role in funds management or via the sell side (industry and super fund client base) with experience selling equity, bond, multi asset and derivative products. Outstanding relationship management skills are a must as is the ability to defend and retain existing AUM whilst ensuring an unwavering focus on winning new business via solution sales. A technical acumen is essential.
