The Senior Associate role will be well suited to a candidate with a strong quantitative background who is interested in investments, risk analysis, and asset allocation. This individual will work closely with the Investment Strategy & Risk Management team and have the following responsibilities:
Assist with supporting advanced analytical models that are used as part of the investment decision making, portfolio construction, and risk management/processes. Responsibilities include collecting, organizing, and maintaining complexdata sets and helping to advance modeling methodologies.
Assist the reporting and data management team in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and other internal/external data requests
Support the firm’s on-going macroeconomic and private markets research and portfolio risk analysis
Work across various internal teams to coordinate the sourcing, maintenance, and usage of investment data.
Coordinate with the application development team to define requirements for the firm’s analytical tools used by internal and external users
Assist on ad hoc projects for new and prospective clients
We seek an individual who is self-disciplined, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following characteristics:
At least three, preferably five, years of experience as a data/quantitative analyst to support risk and portfolio
Undergraduate degree in Math, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or related field candidate should be very comfortable with the foundations of corporate finance and have an interest in investment risk management
CFA candidates are encouraged to apply
Strong quantitative, computer, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of R, database design, developing analytical tools are desirable
Ability to prioritize and independently execute assigned projects
