The role is a rare opportunity to get on the ground floor in the support and development of an investment banking advisory business for one of the world's largest financial institutions. It includes origination and execution responsibilities
Gather, analyse and summarise relevant data from internal and external sources
Support the team in the execution of transactions
Prepare pitching materials based on inputs and direction of team members
Build operating equity and debt financial models and undertake valuation of public and private companies/ divisions/ assets based on industry-standard methods (DCF, comparable multiples, comparable transaction data)
Producing, with team support, related transaction documentations including teasers, information memoranda, offering document
M&A technical, legal, compliance and regulatory awareness
Experience required to successfully perform the role:
A degree in a numerate discipline or equivalent
Previous experience in advisory, private equity, consulting and audit would be desirable but not essential
Mandarin speaker is desirable but not essential
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Finance and accounting knowledge
Excellent organisation skills; able to multi-task, plan ahead and prioritise workload
Able to present technical issues in a measured, clear and articulate way
