Our client is a major global institutional investor with a very strong brand name and presence within the infrastructure and energy market. With multi-£bns already invested very successfully in equity and senior debt around the globe, the business has now launched a Mezz/Junior Debt strategy which is about to close at $1bn.
Supporting the MD leading the strategy, you will be heavily involved in everything from identification of new investment opportunities (globally) to the execution and asset management thereof. You will be exposed to fundraising, supporting your seniors on the raise of Fund II which will commence before the end of 2018 all being well. You will build relationships with clients (existing investors) and of course borrowers, and act as key point of contact for external advisors, lawyers, etc.
This is a top global brand name and furthermore, an exciting new development into a highly interesting and sought-after niche of the market with a lot of activity, relatively high returns and good deal flow. 5-8 years' career experience to date
Experience will have been in leading/recognisable infrastructure/energy advisory/financing/investment house(s)
Candidates with a breadth of deal experience across different infra/energy sub-sectors and geographies (within EMEA) preferred
Candidates with Junior/Sub/Mezz Debt experience preferred
Candidates with additional European languages to English are preferred
You will be expected to have top calibre financial modelling and general analytical skills and these will be tested thoroughly
