The Requirements Join us as Futures Broker Investigations Analyst in Manchester with NatWest Markets
Joining us in NatWest Markets, you'll help us provide dedicated support to our business
You'll rapidly gain a detailed understanding of front to back trade flows across various Futures Exchanges and internal systems in order to support the reconciliation process
This role is offered at Analyst level
What you'll do
You'll work within the European Operations Centre (EOC) Futures Reconciliations Team to support the business in the reconciliation of trades or positions and cash between back and front office systems.
This role will involve:
Diligent investigation and resolution of all breaks
Resolving breaks as well as performing the analysis of root causes to increase efficiency and improve processes
Undertaking the completion of daily reconciliations of trade valuations and Balance Sheet substantiation
Meeting tight deadlines to identify, and where necessary, escalate breaks to mitigate all risk and prevent loss to the company (whether it be financial or reputational)
Constantly reviewing the quality of trade or client support processes and associated technology in pursuit of increased control, efficiency and client satisfaction
The skills you'll need
It would be preferable to have an investment banking background, or a desire to learn about the trade life cycle.You'll need knowledge of Futures markets and products, and some exposure and understanding of Balance Sheet reconciliation and General Ledger substantiation.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
