The role will lead a team of 2-3 people in the region and be a key partner with GCB product owners, channel owners, control functions (ORM, Compliance, Internal audit, etc) and other analytic teams such as Decision Management, Independent risk, IA, S&D, O&T workforce management, and leads across 18 markets including IPB, to leverage existing infrastructure or if not readily available, to lead the effort to with regard to data analytics and Sales Surveillance
Developing & Managing Sales Surveillance:
This role has a specialist aspect as the Workstream covers the development of the "big data" environment that will be the core platform required for the go-forward BAU activities and case management activities for sales surveillance. This will require working closely with both the Data and Tech teams as well as the business leads in each of the countries.
Understand scenarios to be executed and coordinate with various technology teams (GCT/ DM/ CTO) to understand the dependencies, technical challenges, technology environment, data privacy etc and develop go-forward analytics process and sales surveillance process
Define and develop a core and common method and techniques to detect, investigate and size the impact of potential sales misconduct to the customer(s).
Executing the Work Plan :
Develop, obtain approval from both internal or external authorities and execute corrective action plans which may include customer remediation plans, employee disciplinary actions, changes to incentive plans, or changes to sales processes;
Document the tasks into a process, procedure and control document which will be auditable;
Develop and deploy key management dashboards and create summary reports that show progress of corrective actions/ remediation, aggregate findings by product, channel, customer segment and market geography for trend analysis;
Engage with the relevant teams to fine tune scenarios, analytics technique review process, case management process or escalation process based on the lookback review feedback

Ensuring all deliverables to be completed to the required standard and on time
Supporting the Governance and Controls Activities :
Actively participating in the required forums like formal governance steering committees with participation from Regional CEO for GCB and other key Leaders within GCB
Implementing status reports for the Workstream in terms of progress of all deliverables versus the budget utilized
Collaborating with SME's during quality assurance reviews to ensure the highest standard for all project deliverables
The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:
Preferably Master degree with strong academic background disciplines like Data Analytics or bachelors with significant relevant experience
At least 10 years of experience with proven track record in areas of financial services technology, data analysis, data warehouse processes and application of data analysis in consumer business
Demonstrated capabilities of working with the data management teams and the product / channel teams
Several years' experience leading teams with data management experience
Strong capabilities on senior management interactions, cross-business data management, and technology support teams to drive goals
Strong partnering and negotiating abilities/skills and experience in dealing with senior management teams.
A deep understanding of controls and risks associated with the consumer products
Previous experience should include a multi geography exposure / remit and understanding across Asia and preferably EMEA.
Several years' experience leading or liaising with teams with data analysis experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skill in senior management interaction & engagement, influencing business decision through adoption of analytics solution
Ability to negotiate with and influence Regional Line of Business Leaders, and In-Country Program Teams to achieve results that will impact the Regional Consumer business significantly
Ability to manage, develop and motivate virtual teams, and delivering results both as an individual and through virtual teams
Demonstrate through delivery of projects the ability to motivate and influence business partners to deliver on milestones/commitments
