The Requirements We're looking for a Triparty and DBV Associate to join us in Manchester
Join us as Triparty and DBV Associate, where you'll ensure that positions are correctly realigned across Triparty and DBV agent accounts to ensure the settlement of trades
This role will have you building strong working relationships and a network of contacts with clients both internally and externally, achieving excellent exposure as you progress
What you'll do
Your responsibility will be to ensure that positions are correctly realigned across the Triparty and DBV agent accounts, to ensure settlement of trades. You'll be involved in continuous interactions with the Tri-party agents (e.g. Euroclear/ Clearstream) and direct interactions with the Repo Trading and Sales desk.
You'll be maintaining constant communication with trader and sales, and clients and agents to ensure required position is met in the market. You'll be ensuring risk is mitigated through depot, cash and finance reconciliations. Finally, you'll use your sound knowledge of the escalation process to ensure required stakeholders are aware and aid in resolution to issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the stock inventory and prioritisation for the needs of TriParty/DBV trading
Adjusting and calculating the Crest funding position dependant on bilateral and DBV trading
Looking at ways to continually improve the efficiency of the process and exploit opportunities to create STP
Liaising closely with the settlement agents and settlement teams to minimise risk and funding errors
Supporting new business and aid in delivering initiatives, participating where required, particularly where client service is involved
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll need working knowledge and relevant experience of Fixed Income Settlements or Collateral operations. Paired with this, you'll need to possess good knowledge of Triparty and Collateral settlements. You'll understand the front to back lifecycle of securities trade processing, with SWIFT Knowledge and Calypso, Euclid and Crest knowledge.
It would also be desirable to have experience of Fixed Income Cash, Repo, Buy Sell Back, Sell Buy Back, ABS, MBS, Money Market, Collateral, Triparty and structured products knowledge.
Finally, you'll be a results driven individual, with a client focused approach to your daily work. You'll have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and you'll be an adaptable, and ideally have some project experience.
