Your key responsibility will be to manage the regional operational risk program which will include assisting countries with policy implementation and providing on-going oversight on their risk programs. The team also oversees the implementation of enterprise-wide risk management program/systems within Asia countries. In your management of the operational risk framework, you will also be the Asia representative for ORM with the group function. Another key focus for this role is for you to manage, oversee and implement the Business Continuity Planning framework for the region. You will need to conduct risk assessments, implement and oversee OR reporting systems and monitor programs and processes to ensure practices remain current and effective.
To be considered, you will need to have at least 6 years of operational risk experience from within the financial services sector ( Insurance or Banking is acceptable ). In addition to exposure in HK market, you should also have experience working with countries elsewhere in the region. You must be able to work independently and be able to manage projects/assignments whilst demonstrating strong influencing and communication skills to enable effective and regular interaction with senior stakeholders. You will be a strong relationship builder who has a proactive, solutions based can do approach. Fluency in English is a must, Chinese language skills including Mandarin is highly preferred.
