Our client is an asset management firm that is building up its business in the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber candidate to join their institutional sales team.
Covering Asia institutional clients in the region with secondary focus on private banks, family offices and funds of funds. Market intelligence on key prospects on the size, asset allocation and existing managers of their respective portfolios. Competitive analysis on the key strategies verses the key competitors in respective areas. Responsible for preparing and submitting internal and external reports on sales pipeline, business progress, including reports to consultants and industry associations. Liaise with other offices for client visits, delegations and events. Derive and manage visit s to prospects/ clients on an ongoing basis.
To be considered, you will be a university graduate with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in dealing with institutional clients. Good investment knowledge. Excellent presentation skills. Existing contacts in Asia preferable, particularly in Mandarin speaking countries. Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese. .
