A leading global insurer is current seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join their growing risk management function.
The role will be responsible to fully support all activities overseen by the Credit Risk Manager including identifying, assessing and treating risks which are impacting their business units.
The role requires numerous financial reviews to be completed on a range of entities bringing different risks to the balance sheet.
Coordinating detailed structured accounting referrals and coordination of selected credit committee reporting.
Oversight of credit risk to brokers and agents: Annual financial reviews are carried out by the Credit Risk Analyst and slow or late payment is regularly assessed.
Oversight and analysis of network partners including close liaison with network team to contain credit risks on a case by case basis.
Point of referral for accounting matters related to potential structured transactions.
Assessing credit risk from default of credit counterparties on captive and reimbursement programmes.
Collateral management – Overseeing treasury activities related to Letter of Credit collateral management. The role will also require a detailed knowledge of other collateral forms, their benefits and how they should be maintained.
Close liaison with Credit Management in the US and with other Chubb international staff.
Monitor market developments and keep up to date with financial markets.
- Extensive year's relevant industry experience.
- Credit risk experience, particularly in relation to reinsurance is preferred.
