We understand that data is a significant business differentiator in Financial Services, and we are looking for an experienced Data Management professional to join the Chief Data Office and provide proactive, flexible and constructive support in the development, implementation, interpretation and monitoring of data governance across the Group.
The Data Governance team is one of the key disciplines within the Chief Data Office and is responsible for driving and embedding the right environment from a control but also cultural perspective.
As a Senior Manager, you'll lead our cross group data governance forums and working groups and provide Data Governance consultancy across the Group to support the embedding of Data Management. You'll develop and implement processes to deliver the overall objectives of the Chief Data Office and manage adherence to relevant risk policies and frameworks and identify, escalate and mitigate emerging risks as appropriate.
An experienced Data professional with a background in Data Governance, you'll have an understanding of regulatory compliance, a deep understanding of how data is used in organisations and an awareness of other Data Management disciplines, including Data Quality, Data Architecture and Metadata. You'll have an extensive track record of delivery, building strong collaborative relationships at all levels, simplifying complexity, and managing risk. And it's imperative you have proven ability of managing stakeholders, including having the ability and gravitas to interact and influence senior management across the Group.
